BRING YOUR "FULL SOUL"
TO WORK
As a leader in the diversity, inclusion and equity space, you play an important role in contributing to an impactful learning and working environment. An individual’s faith / worldview (regardless of religion) is a significant aspect of a person's identity. Employees who are permitted to discuss religion openly at work report having higher job-satisfaction levels, according to the Journal of Organizational Behavior article entitled Applying Models of Employee Identity Management Across Cultures: Christianity in the USA and South Korea.
Expressing one's faith at school or work allows students and employees to be authentic and true to themselves, fostering a sense of belonging self-acceptance and well-being (greater sense of peace, reduced stress and a healthy work-life balance). It creates a culture of inclusivity in which people can feel welcomed and accepted thus fostering satisfaction, morale, and productivity.
My name is Kevin Anselmo. I’m the author of Reframing Career Success: Picture Your Significance at Work from a Christian Perspective and I lead different workshops / educational experiences that align to these above benefits.
Consider the following 2 questions:
1. Do you want to be successful in your career?
2. How do you define career success, while incorporating your religion / faith / worldview?
Most everyone would answer YES to question #1. Most people aren't sure about how to answer question #2. This is particularly the case for students who are in the process of discovering their career trajectories.
Our workshop offerings / customized educational experiences, conducted both virtually and in-person, enable people to come up with a clear definition about what career success entails while incorporating their worldview (regardless what it is). This framing provides peace, contentment and motivation throughout the highs and lows of our professional journeys.
Content can be tailored for Christian groups, interfaith gatherings and other Diversity, Equity and Inclusion programs.
Philosophy
In addition to the Reframing Career Success workshops, I have also led communication sessions for different universities and global brands (RTI International, Duke University, Wake Forest University, Augusta University, North American Society for the Sociology of Sport, College Advising Corps and George Mason University, among others). These and other related experiences have informed my approach.
Customization. Throughout my years leading workshops, I have seen that no one workshop can be delivered in the same way. Each one must be customized to align to the organization's objectives. I will work closely with you and your colleagues to create a tailored experience that connect to your goals.
Experiential. I believe that when teaching others communication best practices, it's imperative that attendees learn experientially. In teaching the Rethinking Career Success principles, participants can’t just absorb and consume content. They must process it in different ways to spark breakthroughs. Hence our workshops are guided by different action-oriented learning experiences.
Follow-up. I have learned through my years working in the executive education space that it is not enough to provide a great one-off learning experience. Follow-up is necessary for the optimal learning and impact to take place. I will work with your team and organization to ensure there is a follow-up component.
I offer a free 20-minute consultation to discuss your needs and how we might best work together. Fill out the form below and I will get in touch.
